Season 3

1974–1975, Quebec. Two middle-class couples in crisis are confronted by the truth of their disintegrating relationships. Let down by love, friendships, and family—and in a time when feminism, unionism, and national affirmation are on the rise, but where divorce is still taboo—their desperate search for marital bliss ultimately leads them down a deadly path. Just what motivates a group of ordinary suburbanites to descend into a ruthless life of criminality and murder?
Funny, entertaining, highly emotional, and chock-full of twists and turns, Happily Married charts the unlikely tale of Quebec’s most infamous criminal foursome. But in spite of their obvious faults, the Delisles and the Paquettes are nice, endearing people and we want these loveable killers to succeed in their decent into the underworld, and one day find marital bliss.
