When a family matter puts her in charge of the Christmas pageant, Amber Dupont is determined to transform her Detroit church’s annual event into a star-studded spectacular. But she soon finds herself in hot water after vowing to deliver a performance by none other than Motown legend Smokey Robinson.
Amber’s best friends secretly enlist her former flame, Eddie, to help, and the pair reconnect on a quest to track down Smokey and convince him to appear. With only two weeks left until the sold-out event, it’s going to take a holiday miracle.
Miracle in Motor City stars Tia Mowry (Sister, Sister) as Amber Dupont, Mark Taylor (Flashpoint) as Eddie Root, and Smokey Robinson, as himself. The soundtrack features Motown hits from Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and Diana Ross & The Supremes.
